Position: HBM Product Manager (New College Grad)

As a Product Manager at Micron Technology, Inc. in the Cloud Memory Business Unit (CMBU), you will be charged with defining and executing the strategy for a High Performance Memory product portfolio that will further fortify Micron’s leadership position in the Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML) and High Performance Computing (HPC) business segments. You will be working on leading‑edge technology driving highest performance memory product serving and enabling customer‑focused innovation.

You will be responsible for expanding Micron’s presence in the HBM market by actively pursuing and managing customer engagements, ensuring industry inputs are included in defining the strategy and vision of the product portfolio.

Successful candidates for this role are ambitious and influential leaders who possess an entrepreneurial spirit and the creativity to resolve a wide array of complex challenges. Ideal prospects will have an engineering background and analytical skills with a strong sense of ownership on execution and possess good communication skills to drive customer engagements and cross‑functional teams towards business goals. Product managers in this role will be self‑starters with a can‑do attitude who can apply their critical thinking ability to drive the best possible outcome.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain excellent understanding of market requirements and technology trends to enable product portfolio development and competitive analysis reports.
  • Represent Product Management team in all Product Development Team meetings ensuring customer needs are represented, and product spec trade‑off discussions are translated to business impact.
  • Drive Product strategy and roadmap alignment meetings that report status, highlight key risks to achieving business objectives.
  • Help develop Stage Gate material for products and present them as needed for high‑performance memory products.
  • Develop and continue optimizing the business case for each product in your portfolio, including unit cost, capex, revenue, R&D, opportunity cost and ROI analysis.
  • Help define and support operational excellence initiatives within the team.
  • Support the Portfolio Manager as needed, embracing and handling tasks or responsibilities, and furthering knowledge and facilitating key aspects of product management.
  • Participate in the product management community by contributing to corporate process improvement and act as secondary/back‑up product manager for assigned products.
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s, MBA or Master’s degree in engineering (Preferred).
  • Highly motivated person with strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to work with customers as a Micron representative.
  • Proven experience in being highly structured and organized.
  • Demonstrated ability to complete complex technical projects.
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally.
