Front Counter Operations Coordinator
At Topcon Positioning Group, the front counter is the heartbeat of daily operations. As a Front Counter Operations Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in keeping projects moving, supporting customers, and keeping the location connected.
Responsibilities- Serve walk-in customers and manage all incoming phone calls.
- Enter and update sales and rental orders in coordination with the sales team, ensuring special handling or delivery requirements are documented.
- Monitor open sales and purchase orders to ensure accurate and timely shipping or fulfillment.
- Perform weekly cycle counts and coordinate mobile inventory counts with sales representatives.
- Coordinate inventory transfers between locations.
- Work closely with the service department to ensure timely turnaround of customer equipment.
- Update and maintain inventory, sales, and rental records in the ERP system.
- Process vendor invoices and forward them to the accounting department.
- Reconcile petty cash and ensure all checks and cash transactions are submitted to accounting.
- Monitor sales activity, troubleshoot customer or internal issues, and coordinate equipment pickup or delivery as needed.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in office administration or front‑desk operations.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience with ERP systems; SAP experience a plus.
- Preferred experience in inventory control, customer service, warehouse operations, or construction‑related retail.
- Basic sales support or marketing experience is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
