Position Summary
The Senior Analyst, Informatics (Encounter Technical Analyst) is responsible for analyzing and documenting business data and processes, conducting root‑cause analysis, and creating reports or other solutions to support business needs. The role involves producing reports on varied claim and encounter data.
Responsibilities- Write simple to complex SQL queries, procedures, and reports on both an ad hoc and production basis to analyze data trends or anomalies impacting business success.
- Proactively define, identify, develop, and implement system enhancements or modifications that support business strategic goals.
- Assist and participate in the development and prioritization of system updates, executing test scripts and reporting outcomes or defects.
- Utilize SQL proficiency to write and modify queries, interpret results, conduct root‑cause analysis, and develop short‑ and long‑term solutions through completion.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results.
- Establish relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- 1+ year(s) of relevant programming or analytical experience, including development and experience with complex SQL queries.
- Experience working in a data warehouse environment and handling large data sets from multiple sources.
- Demonstrated analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to present information to various audiences.
- Strong collaboration skills within and across teams.
- Claims/Encounter experience in the healthcare industry.
- Experience with QNXT or Edifecs.
- Experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) files.
- Experience with test‑script development and execution.
- Experience with Agile methodologies.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Pay Range$46,988.00 – $ (base salary; may vary based on experience, education, geography, and other factors). This position is eligible for a bonus, commission, or short‑term incentive program in addition to the base pay range.
