Product Manager, Enterprise

Responsibilities

• The largest, most demanding Enterprises are starting to run on Baseten and they come with a range of security, compliance, and procurement requirements.
• Today that readiness is assembled deal-by-deal. You’ll own the enterprise-readiness surface end to end and turn it into product: the deployment options customers can choose and buy, compliance posture they can trust, access and security controls their IT teams require, and the billing and spend controls their finance teams expect.
• Drive the Enterprise Readiness customer experience end to end:
  Partner with GTM and Enterprise Engineering to make “enterprise-ready” a platform-wide capability, not a deal-by-deal scramble. Outcome: readiness becomes a supported, priced product instead of bespoke work assembled per deal
• Product Vision and

  See around the curve on what regulated customers will require — deployment models, compliance posture, identity and access, billing and spend controls — and build ahead of the need. Outcome: one prioritized roadmap and operational rigor that help us get ahead of customer requirements instead of reacting to them
• Be the Enterprise customer voice:
  Turn deal-blocking requirements from sales and FDE into product. Outcome: the steady stream of one-off exceptions becomes a smaller set of sellable, supported capabilities

• Remote-first work environment. The Baseten team is welcome to work from wherever they want; fully remote, in our San Francisco office, or a mix of both. Today, our team (including our founding team) is spread across the United States, Canada, and Armenia. We provide a $1,000 stipend for you to make your home‑office comfortable and productive
• Regular in‑person team summits. We get together as a team three times a year to plan, workshop, and most importantly, get to know each other better
• Unlimited PTO. We ask that everyone take at least 4 weeks of vacation. And we have a company‑wide break between Christmas and New Year’s Day

• Credible in the room with security, compliance, and procurement buyers and with the engineers who build it
• Bonus: ML infrastructure experience, you’ve sold into or built for regulated industries (healthcare, financial services, government), etc.
• 8+ years in product management, with real depth in enterprise or B2B infrastructure — security, compliance, identity, networking, or billing
• You’ve shipped enterprise readiness surface – multi‑cloud and multi‑region deployments, SSO/RBAC, SOC 2/HIPAA, VPC/Private Link, usage‑based billing and can publicly point to the products you’ve shipped
• You think in supported, priced products – not per‑deal exceptions – and you know the difference between a feature and a sellable capability
• A rigorous researcher who lets customer and deal reality drive the call, and a relentless shipper
