As Global Product Specialist (Upstream), Neuromodulation you will assist with upstream marketing and product management activities and become a subject matter expert on our products and services for the cross‑functional team.

You will ensure smooth transitions of the product through the development life‑cycle, taking the product from concept through commercial launch.

Ideally, you are a systems thinker and adept at synthesizing executive input, competitive information, market research, and end‑user/customer data to build amazing products that help transform the lives of people with Epilepsy and also meet the goals of the business. As an essential member of our product team, you'll work closely with engineering and design – along with business stakeholders from across the company – to create new products and features related to VNS Therapy for Epilepsy.

This position spans many activities from tactical to strategic and provides cross‑functional and leadership visibility as you work to discover and define the next best innovations.

The Opportunity

Develop foundational product management skills while identifying and defining customer pain points, prioritizing solutions, and making recommendations Contribute to product strategy and development via design, execution, and analysis of timely and relevant Voice of Customer (VoC) research Plan, manage, and execute qualitative and quantitative primary research and leverage findings to make recommendations High visibility across the organization as you collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders in commercial, business, and technology teams to ensure features in development meet customer and business requirements Collect, curate, and promote the most relevant ideas into features.

Work with the core team to turn ideas into features -- the ones that will achieve critical objectives for the product line and business. Contribute to release planning, roadmap development, and launch strategy

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required. Degree in Life Sciences, Neuroscience, Biology, Engineering, Strategic Marketing, or related fields preferred Some industry experience preferred. Relevant internships in medical device field will be considered Voice of customer experience, including primary market research methods (quantitative and qualitative) Experience interviewing and speaking with clinicians to collect clinical, market, and product feedback desired Able to conduct competitive research and apply to differentiation and positioning Demonstrated success in working with cross‑functional teams

Location & Travel Requirements

Remote Travel: 10-20%

Pay Transparency

A reasonable estimate of the annual base salary for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 annually, plus discretionary annual bonus. Pay ranges may vary by location and are awarded based on experience.
