The American Heart Association has an excellent opportunity for a  
** Region Business Operations Director
** for the  
** Western States Region** . The Region Business Operations Director oversees facilities, business operations, finance and administrative functions and processes in compliance with Association policies and regulatory requirements. Provides advanced operations and logistics support in executing special initiatives and projects as assigned.

Residence in the Western States region (Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington) is preferred for this hybrid position.

** Responsibilities*
* + Provides business operations leadership, consultation, and execution related to functional areas including finance, facilities, data management, and customer service.

+ Serves as expert resource and/or lead on applicable systems, data management standards for customers, campaign and financial management and business operations policies and procedures.

+ Manages internal finance processes, including budgeting, revenue and expense tracking, reporting, invoice processing, and supplier management.

+ In collaboration with Operations leads, designs and provides training, ongoing education and compliance oversight on business operations and facilities management.

+ Serves as a contact for vendors (or advise on vendor relations) on contracts and supplier agreements.

+ Resolves day-to-day problems; coordinates the process and resources to obtain solutions.

+ Coordinates the review and audit of facilities/building budgets and expenses. Includes specific review of and oversight of capital improvement budgets and projects.

+ Supports the planning and coordination of facilities management, space planning, moves, equipment installations, renovations, and other projects with internal and external stakeholders.

** Qualifications*
* + 3 years minimum of prior relevant experience that includes:

+ Organization, problem-solving and negotiation skills

+ General office administration

+ Finance and accounts payable experience

+ Highly effective communication and customer service skills

+ Bachelor's degree or equivalent

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office

** Here are some of the preferred skills we are looking for:*
* + Vendor management experience

+ Non-profit accounting experience

** Compensation & Benefits*
* Expected pay range will be $70,400 to $85,000 annually. Pay is commensurate with experience; geographic differentials to the pay range may apply. The American Heart Association reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range.
