About

The Role

The Sr. Operations Specialist leads the performance, reliability, and operational readiness of Clēnera's utility-scale solar and battery energy storage portfolio. You will be responsible for portfolio reporting and analytics, reliability and warranty programs, inventory governance, commercial coordination, and operational initiatives that improve asset performance and lifecycle outcomes.

What You'll Do
  • Develop and maintain portfolio reporting, dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics to support operational, financial, lender, owner, and executive reporting requirements.
  • Analyze operational, maintenance, and equipment performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that improve asset reliability, availability, and production.
  • Manage portfolio-level spare parts and inventory programs, including stocking strategies, replenishment planning, inventory tracking, and equipment readiness.
  • Administer equipment warranty programs, including claim coordination, vendor communication, recovery tracking, documentation management, and asset record maintenance.
  • Support reliability and asset health initiatives through equipment performance monitoring, failure trend analysis, root cause investigations, and lifecycle planning recommendations.
  • Assist with operational budgeting, major maintenance forecasting, warranty recovery tracking, lifecycle replacement planning, and BESS augmentation forecasting.
  • Track and evaluate contractor, OEM, and O&M provider performance, contractual obligations, service commitments, and key deliverables.
  • Lead operational coordination for BESS augmentation projects, including outage planning, schedule and budget tracking, risk management, turnover activities, and integration into long-term operations.
  • Maintain operational records, procedures, equipment databases, controlled documentation, and governance practices to support compliance and operational readiness.
  • Support commercial and administrative activities, including invoice approvals, purchase order tracking, vendor coordination, meeting administration, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and improve portfolio operations processes, reporting methodologies, data governance standards, and automation solutions that enhance efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with individual department, as well as cross-functionally with other departments within the organization.
  • Maintain organizational excellence in terms of project timelines and deliverables.

Minimum Requirements
  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, business, related field, or equivalent years of experience.
  • Experience:

    Minimum of 5 years of experience in renewable energy operations, asset management, maintenance planning, project coordination, data analysis, or related field.
  • Technology:
    Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, and an ability to learn company-specific software programs, tools, processes, and machines.
