Overview

Position Summary Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee on-site construction activities for commercial projects in the Boise area. The Superintendent is responsible for managing day-to-day field operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards and contract documents.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all on-site construction activities from project start through closeout
  • Manage jobsite safety and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel
  • Maintain and update project schedules; proactively identify and resolve conflicts
  • Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and quality expectations
  • Conduct daily site inspections and progress meetings
  • Coordinate inspections with local authorities and ensure code compliance
  • Maintain accurate daily reports, schedules, and project documentation
  • Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Owners, Architects, and Engineers
  • Enforce company policies, procedures, and quality control standards
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects
  • Strong understanding of construction means and methods
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and schedules
  • Proven experience managing subcontractors and jobsite logistics
  • Solid leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with construction scheduling and reporting tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Primavera, or similar)
  • Knowledge of local building codes and inspection processes preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to work on-site in Boise and surrounding areas
Preferred Experience
  • Experience with ground-up commercial construction and/or major renovations
  • Background in projects such as office, retail, healthcare, industrial, or mixed-use developments
  • OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain)
