Overview
Position Summary Our client is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee on-site construction activities for commercial projects in the Boise area. The Superintendent is responsible for managing day-to-day field operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards and contract documents.

Responsibilities- Oversee all on-site construction activities from project start through closeout
- Manage jobsite safety and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel
- Maintain and update project schedules; proactively identify and resolve conflicts
- Ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and quality expectations
- Conduct daily site inspections and progress meetings
- Coordinate inspections with local authorities and ensure code compliance
- Maintain accurate daily reports, schedules, and project documentation
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Owners, Architects, and Engineers
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and quality control standards
- 4+ years of experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects
- Strong understanding of construction means and methods
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and schedules
- Proven experience managing subcontractors and jobsite logistics
- Solid leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient with construction scheduling and reporting tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Primavera, or similar)
- Knowledge of local building codes and inspection processes preferred
- Valid driver’s license and ability to work on-site in Boise and surrounding areas
- Experience with ground-up commercial construction and/or major renovations
- Background in projects such as office, retail, healthcare, industrial, or mixed-use developments
- OSHA 30 certification (or willingness to obtain)
