Overview

Construction Operations — Site Manager

Location:

Boise,  assignment in Hillsboro, OR and/or Phoenix, AZ with relocation to Boise once project breaks ground. Role Type:
Full-Time.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise all site office activities including personnel administration and performance reviews
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all site project statuses and conduct weekly project reviews
  • Promote a win-win attitude with Project Managers to ensure profitable outcomes and satisfied customers
  • Monitor the quantity and quality of work performed by the site office team
  • Develop new business opportunities and maintain positive customer relations for site sustaining projects
  • Select and assign project team members based on experience and project requirements
  • Coordinate efforts with Division Manager to align site operations with corporate objectives
  • Perform all duties of a Senior Project Manager as needed
  • Assume additional responsibilities as required by site office operating needs
Required Experience / Skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's degree in Technical/Business Administration or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience
  • Extensive experience in the construction industry
  • Experience with physical installation of electrical equipment and systems
  • Advanced knowledge of all aspects of construction
  • Proven business development, marketing, and sales skills
  • Strong decision-making abilities that impact profitability
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel);
    Oracle preferred
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with changing priorities
  • Self-motivated, proactive team player who works effectively under pressure
  • Professional interpersonal skills for interacting with all levels of employees, vendors, and clients
Nice-to-Haves
  • Experience managing site offices in similar large-scale construction environments
  • Background in electrical construction projects
  • Familiarity with ESOP company structures
  • Experience working in multiple geographic locations
  • Previous exposure to commercial or industrial construction projects
Education

Bachelor's degree in Technical/Business Administration or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience required.

Travel Requirements

Up to 25% travel. Initially, you’ll work in Hillsboro, OR and/or Phoenix, AZ to ramp up until the Boise project breaks ground (travel assistance and per diem provided).

Working Conditions

General office environment with sitting for extended periods, standing, walking, and typing. Work is conducted primarily indoors with standard office conditions (fluorescent lighting, air conditioning). Noise level is typically low to medium. Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs may be required.
