This hands‑on role involves operating heavy machinery used to compact and smooth freshly laid asphalt on roads, parking lots, driveways, and other surfaces. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and experienced in roadwork equipment operations. Key Responsibilities- Operate asphalt roller machines with precision and safety.
- Perform daily inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Communicate with project foremen and team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Load and unload machinery safely and within DOT and company guidelines.
- Follow traffic control, environmental, and safety procedures on job sites.
- Work flexible hours to accommodate day, night, and weekend shifts.
- Contribute to a respectful and team‑oriented work environment.
- Prior experience in asphalt roller operations required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Class A CDL preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and extended hours when needed.
- Team player with a positive attitude and commitment to safety.
