Construction Project Engineer - RFI, Submittals & Bluebeam

Salary: $75,000 - $89,000 per year

We are a leading construction firm seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Project Engineer. The role involves overseeing all project engineering aspects, including RFI, submittals, document control, procurement, and construction management. Proficiency in Bluebeam software and strong writing skills are required. This permanent, full‑time position offers a competitive salary and benefits.

• Oversee and manage the project engineering aspects of construction projects, ensuring compliance with company standards and specifications.
• Handle RFI, submittals, and document control with high accuracy and professionalism.
• Procure materials and equipment, liaise with suppliers, and negotiate contracts.
• Utilize Bluebeam software to create, edit, and review project drawings and plans.
• Work closely with the construction management team to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure project success.
• Resolve project‑related issues or disputes timely and professionally.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in RFI, submittals, document control, and procurement processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high grammar accuracy.
• Extensive experience with Bluebeam software.
• Strong knowledge of construction management principles and best practices.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and sound decision making.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
