We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Permanent Superintendent with a specialty in Exterior Skin-Healthcare/Commercial Construction. This role will oversee all aspects of the exterior cladding systems, facade, and envelope for healthcare and commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Specialty Exterior Building Envelope and will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality are upheld.
Responsibilities- Oversee all stages of the project life cycle, including planning, design, construction, and completion.
- Manage and supervise the installation of exterior cladding systems, facades, and envelope.
- Coordinate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure that all exterior skin-related construction activities align with project specifications.
- Ensure compliance with all local and national building codes and regulations.
- Review and approve subcontractor and vendor drawings and designs to ensure they meet project requirements and standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Proactively identify and resolve any issues that may impact project timeline, budget, or quality.
- Provide leadership and guidance to construction teams, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in exterior skin-healthcare/commercial construction.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare construction, with a focus on exterior cladding systems, facades, and envelope.
- Proven track record of successfully overseeing and completing complex healthcare and commercial construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of Specialty Exterior Building Envelope.
- Strong understanding of local and national building codes and regulations.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in using construction management software and tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is preferred.
- Certifications in Construction Management or related field will be a plus.
