Our client is a well-established construction contractor seeking an experienced Planner / Scheduler to support large-scale construction projects in the Boise, Idaho area.

This position plays a key role in project planning, schedule development, progress tracking, and project controls. The successful candidate will work closely with project management, field operations, engineering teams, and subcontractors to ensure projects remain aligned with schedule objectives and client expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate planning sessions to develop project execution plans and detailed schedules.
  • Develop, maintain, and update Primavera P6 schedules throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project progress and identify schedule variances, risks, and recovery opportunities.
  • Analyze critical path activities and provide schedule performance reporting.
  • Develop and maintain resource-loaded schedules and labor forecasts.
  • Track physical progress, productivity, and key project metrics.
  • Coordinate schedule integration with engineering, procurement, construction, and subcontractor activities.
  • Support project controls reporting, forecasting, and earned value analysis.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide schedule guidance to project teams.
  • Conduct field observations to verify schedule status and progress.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project controls, planning, or scheduling.
  • Experience supporting industrial construction projects.
  • Strong Primavera P6 experience required.
  • Knowledge of CPM scheduling methodologies.
  • Experience with resource loading, forecasting, and schedule analysis.
  • Familiarity with earned value management principles is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with project teams in dynamic construction environments.
