Senior Concrete Estimator

Overview

B.H. Inc. is looking to hire a full-time Senior Concrete Estimator to complete a full range of business activities in a professional setting while adhering to the highest ethical standards. The Concrete Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed cost estimates for concrete projects, conducting takeoffs and pricing. This role involves evaluating project plans and specifications, visiting project sites to understand site conditions and limitations, and collaborating with team members to build comprehensive estimates.

Phoenix, AZ;
Saint George, UT;
North Salt Lake City, UT;
Vernal, UT; or Boise, .

Salary and benefits are provided as part of the compensation package as described below.

• Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for concrete projects, including takeoffs and pricing.
• Evaluate project plans and specifications to build comprehensive estimates.
• Visit project sites to understand site conditions and limitations.
• Collaborate with team members to develop and refine estimates.

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field, or equivalent construction experience.
• 5–10 years of experience as an estimator for concrete projects.
• Ability to develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and owners.
• Willingness to learn estimating processes including bid invitations, takeoffs, estimating software, and plan and specification review.
• Experience with Excel, Word, Bluebeam, Planswift, TBC, Agtek and Estimate (B2W).

Salary: $140,000 - $198,000 per year (depends on experience). This position is paid weekly. Benefits include health, vision, dental, life insurance, a 401(k) plan with a match, and paid time off (PTO).
