JOB SUMMARYEstimators provide technical estimation of electrical projects from bid preparation through job close out documentation to the customer.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS- A working knowledge of electrical construction and theory at a level normally acquired through completion of an electrical training program, two-year technical or business degree or related field; and
- 5 years' experience as an electrical estimator.
- Excellent human relations skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Demonstrated conceptual estimates and financial analytical skills.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Quantity takeoff.
- Quantity takeoff entry into estimating software.
- Solicitation and review vendor and subcontractor quotations.
- Review current material pricing levels.
- Review and estimate addenda as required.
- Visit site and/or attend site walk meeting.
- Draft and submit proposal documents.
Follow post bid closeout procedures. - Attend weekly estimating team meetings.
- Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.
- Experience in the construction industry.
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance.

- PTO accrual of up to 120 hours in a full year (subject to plan terms thereafter).
- Required to maintain a valid driver's license.
- Requires travel:
Minimal (up to 10%). - Background check, credit check, MVR and drug screen may be required (will vary by position).
