Senior Estimator - Commercial Electrical Construction - Boise, Idaho

Gryphon Oakwood is partnering with a leading electrical contractor to identify an experienced Electrical Construction Senior Estimator. This individual will play a key role in preparing accurate estimates for commercial electrical projects from bid preparation through project handover, working closely with internal teams, vendors, and subcontractors to deliver competitive proposals.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for commercial electrical projects
• Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents
• Solicit and evaluate vendor and subcontractor quotations
• Develop accurate and competitive bid proposals
• Review addenda, material pricing, and project schedules
• Attend site walks and pre-bid meetings as required
• Collaborate with the estimating team throughout the bid process

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of electrical estimating experience
• Strong knowledge of commercial electrical construction
• Experience with estimating software and quantity take-offs
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple bids and meet deadlines
• Construction Management or related degree preferred
