Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Framer role located in the Boise Metropolitan Area. The Framer will construct and install wood framing for residential projects, including walls, floors, roofs, and other structural components according to plans and specifications. Day-to-day tasks include measuring and cutting lumber, assembling and securing framing systems, interpreting blueprints, and collaborating with other trades to keep projects on schedule.

The role also involves maintaining a safe and organized job site, inspecting work for quality and accuracy, and assisting with general carpentry tasks as needed. The Framer will work closely with supervisors and crew members to complete projects efficiently and uphold River Born Co’s standards of craftsmanship.

Qualifications
  • Strong framing and general carpentry skills, including measuring, cutting, and assembling structural components.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Experience using common hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Knowledge of residential construction methods, building codes, and job site safety practices.
  • Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting materials, standing for extended periods, and working in varying weather conditions.
  • Reliable transportation to job sites within the Boise Metropolitan Area and consistent punctuality.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn and take direction.
  • Previous framing or residential construction experience preferred; apprenticeship or vocational training in construction is a plus.
