Mechanical Construction Project Manager

Join a well-established mechanical construction leader and take ownership of complex, high-impact projects from preconstruction through completion. What You'll Do

  • Lead mechanical construction projects, overseeing scope, budgets, schedules, safety, and profitability
  • Manage project financials, labor forecasting, material costs, and risk mitigation
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Prepare estimates, proposals, project scopes, and negotiate change orders
  • Coordinate with engineering, fabrication, and field teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Procure major equipment and subcontractors while tracking deliveries and project milestones
  • Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, project specifications, and safety standards
  • Mentor and support Project Engineers and Project Coordinators
  • Identify opportunities for business growth and contribute to client development efforts

What We're Looking For

  • Experience managing mechanical construction projects from planning through completion
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop team members
  • Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems preferred
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, organizational, and time management skills
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasts, schedules, and multiple priorities
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management platforms such as Bluebeam, Procore/ACC, Smartsheet, and Viewpoint Vista
  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
