Brix Paving Northwest is seeking an experienced, motivated Concrete Superintendent to lead our concrete construction operations in the Treasure Valley and surrounding areas. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing daily concrete construction activities, coordinating crews, equipment, subcontractors, and project schedules while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing municipal, roadway, private, and public works concrete projects, including curb and gutter, sidewalks, ADA ramps, driveways, parking lots, medians, street panels, roundabouts, and other civil infrastructure improvements.

Key Responsibilities- Supervise daily concrete construction operations and administration of public and private works, roadways, and site development projects.
- Lead and coordinate concrete crews, foremen, subcontractors, and equipment resources to meet project schedules and production goals.
- Review and understand project plans, specifications, grades, elevations, utility conflicts, and contract requirements.
- Manage construction of curb and gutter, sidewalks, ADA ramps, driveways, parking lots, medians, traffic islands, street panels, roundabouts, and related infrastructure improvements.
- Coordinate with project managers, estimators, surveyors, inspectors, municipalities, utility companies, and subcontractors to ensure successful project execution.
- Develop, maintain, and adjust project schedules as project conditions evolve.
- Ensure accurate layout, grade verification, forming, concrete placement, finishing, curing, and quality control.
- Monitor labor productivity, equipment utilization, and material consumption to maximize efficiency and profitability.
- Effectively communicate with owners, inspectors, suppliers, and subcontractors to resolve issues and maintain progress.
- Conduct daily safety meetings and jobsite inspections while enforcing company safety policies and OSHA requirements.
- Maintain project documentation, production reports, time records, and field logs.
- Identify and resolve field challenges while maintaining quality standards and schedule commitments.
- Mentor foremen and crew members and help develop future field leaders within the organization.
- Construct projects in the safest and most efficient manner possible.
- Other duties as directed by supervisor.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in concrete construction, civil or commercial construction, roadway construction, or public infrastructure projects.
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience as a Superintendent, General Foreman, Foreman, or equivalent leadership role.
- Proven experience managing concrete flatwork operations including curb and gutter, sidewalks, ADA-compliant pedestrian facilities, driveways, medians, street panels, intersections, and roundabouts.
- Strong understanding of municipal and public works construction practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, grade stakes, survey data, and construction schedules.
