Skills & Experience:
5+ years of experience managing process mechanical construction projects within semiconductor, pharmaceutical, advanced manufacturing, or other industrial environments. Experience overseeing installation of process piping, HVAC process systems, cooling water, vacuum, exhaust, and related mechanical infrastructure. Experience supporting projects from design review through commissioning and final turnover. Strong understanding of construction sequencing, subcontractor management, and schedule development. Proficiency with Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel, and construction document management.
Nice to Have
Skills & Experience:
Familiarity with BIM coordination, Navisworks, Bluebeam, or Procore. Experience supporting cleanroom construction projects. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline. Experience troubleshooting system startup and turnover issues.
Job Description:
Our client is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee process mechanical systems supporting a large advanced manufacturing facility. This individual will be responsible for driving execution from preconstruction planning through startup and turnover while ensuring scope, schedule, safety, and quality objectives are achieved. On a daily basis, this individual will coordinate subcontractors, review construction progress, manage RFIs and submittals, participate in design reviews, and identify opportunities to optimize construction sequencing.
The Construction Manager will lead trade coordination meetings, resolve field issues, track project milestones, and support commissioning efforts as mechanical systems transition into operation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, technically strong, and capable of leading multiple stakeholders in a demanding construction environment.
