Estimator, Construction, Procurement ​/ Purchasing

Insight Global is looking for a Cost Engineer to support large-scale construction project within the semiconductor advanced manufacturing space. This individual will spend the majority of their time reviewing and validating contractor change order requests. On a daily basis, they will utilize Procore to evaluate change orders, verify labor and material costs, review drawings and specifications, analyze schedule impacts, and ensure pricing is aligned with contractual requirements.

They will work closely with project managers, construction teams, subcontractors, and project controls personnel to identify cost risks, resolve pricing discrepancies, and provide recommendations for change order approval. Candidates can expect to work 50 hours a week on 10 hour shifts for this role.

This is a yearlong contract opportunity with possible extensions. We can offer pay between $45/hr to $62/hr (X1.5 for OT rate) ~annual compensation $125K - $180K+ but exact compensation may vary based on education and experience. Will work fully onsite in Boise, . This role also is eligible for daily per diem of $174/daily (7 days per week). Offers comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental and vision plans, and 401(K).

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience reviewing, validating, negotiating, and processing construction change orders Experience supporting commercial, industrial, semiconductor, or data center construction projects
• Proven ability to analyze contractor change order requests for scope, quantity, labor, equipment, and material cost accuracy
• Experience comparing change proposals against contract documents, drawings, specifications, and project budgets
• Strong understanding of construction estimating, quantity takeoffs, and cost analysis
• Hands-on experience using Procore for change order management, cost tracking, contract administration, and documentation review
