Mountain West Bank is seeking a Personal Banker for our Cole Street branch in Boise, Idaho. As a Personal Banker, you will support Mountain West Bank's mission to deliver exceptional customer experiences. This role is responsible for the professional selling of multiple services and accounts to customers and prospective customers. You will promote the use of all bank accounts and services to build the full retail banking relationship.

You may act as a Teller as determined by branch needs.

We are seeking applicants who demonstrate clear communication, provide top-notch customer service skills, and have impeccable manners. Regular and predictable attendance is essential. This position reports to the Branch Manager. Career growth includes roles such as Customer Service Manager, Branch Manager and more.

This is a full-time, hourly position. Availability Monday through Friday, between 8:30 am and 6:00 pm and one Saturday a month from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, for a total of 37 hours per week. Rate of pay depends on experience.

• Know the features and benefits of all retail banking products and services.
• May require travel.
• Open new accounts and comply with MWB and GBCI policies and procedures.
• Proficient with the bank s High-Performance Growth (HPG) program and actively participate in all aspects (Tell-A-Friend, Big Days, HPG displays, 2-2-2 follow-up, cross-serve panel).
• Answer customer inquiries regarding interest rates, service charges and account histories while complying with disclosure requirements, regulations, and consumer privacy policies.
• Follow up with temporary signature cards within appropriate time frames and comply with procedures.
• Close accounts only after attempting to retain the customer.
• Cross-sell bank products and services.
• Refer customers to the proper department for issues that cannot be resolved and refer customers to other departments for other products and services.
• Perform Teller duties as needed.
• Comply with applicable laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.

Position Requirements and

Qualifications:

• Prior banking experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel; proficient keyboarding skills
• Excellent organizational skills

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Prior sales experience
• Previous customer service experience
• Knowledge of Jack Henry platform
• Previous experience as a Teller
• Previous knowledge and use of MWB products and services

Personal Bankers (PB) must be client/customer focused, maintain confidentiality, and have the capacity to navigate systems smoothly, be thorough and communicate proficiently.

Work Environment: Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in a climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise level.
