We are seeking an experienced Dental Patient Care Coordinator + Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our front desk staff. Highlights of Patient Care Coordinator Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome patients in a friendly and professional manner
Schedule and manage patient appointments
Handle patient inquiries regarding services, insurance, and billing
Verify and process patients’ dental insurance
Review treatment plans, insurance, and out-of-pocket costs with patients
Collect patients’ co-insurance at time of service and after service when necessary
Enter patient information accurately into practice management software
Coordinate appointments and dental record transfers with referring practices
Maintain a clean and organized reception and waiting area Collaborate with clinical staff and doctors to ensure seamless patient care Verify dental insurance benefits and eligibility as needed
Submit and monitor dental insurance claims for prompt reimbursement
Review outstanding insurance claims and follow up with insurance carriers to resolve delays, denials, and payment discrepancies
Post insurance payments and patient payments accurately and efficiently
Ensure compliance with HIPAA, insurance regulations, and office policies
** This is a full-time Patient Care Coordinator position with a schedule of:
Tuesday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Qualifications:
Proficiency with dental software
Knowledge of dental insurance plans, claims processing, EOBs, and CDT coding
Minimum of two (2) years of dental Patient Care Coordinator or administrative experience is required
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail, multi-tasking, and organizational skills
Knowledge of dental insurance & billing and healthcare policies (HIPAA)
High school diploma or equivalent
Reliability and punctuality
