Position: Architecture Job Captain

Are you an experienced architectural designer who thrives on creativity, collaboration, and community? At erstad, we believe different is good. We design unique, meaningful spaces and are looking for someone with 3–5 years of experience to join our fun, laid-back team. From multi-family housing to non-profits and educational spaces, you'll play a key role in shaping the built environment in and around Boise.

What You’ll Do:

As an Architecture Job Captain at erstad, you’ll be involved in all phases of design, collaborating closely with project managers, consultants, and clients. You'll coordinate technical drawings, manage documentation, and help ensure projects are delivered with the highest quality standards. If you’re a team player who loves problem-solving and wants to see projects through from start to finish, we’d love to meet you.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Architecture (Required)
  • 3–5 Years of Experience in an Architecture Firm
  • Proficient in Revit & AutoCAD (Required)
  • Skilled in Sketch Up, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Office
  • Strong Understanding of Constructability & Detailing
  • Experienced in Construction Documentation
  • Able to Work Efficiently Under Project Manager Direction
  • Highly Organized & Detail-Oriented with Strong Time Management
  • A Positive Attitude and a Collaborative Spirit
  • Local to Boise or Willing to Relocate
  • A Passion for Design – different is good
