BIM/CADD Technician
As a Mechanical BIM/CADD Technician, you will be an integral part of the team. This position will generate ideas into reality by coordinating with the teams to produce drawings and other construction documents. This role will use Revit building information software to create three‑dimensional drawings as directed by a senior engineer or designer. This position will assist in design and quality control to produce the best possible outcomes for our clients.
PositionSalary Range
The expected salary range for this position is $20 to $25 hourly.
Required Qualifications- An associate degree or higher education in computer technology, drafting and design, integrated arts, animation and modeling, or other related programs
- 0-5 years of job‑related experience
- Basic knowledge of Autodesk MEP Revit, Auto CADD, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook
- Mathematical and systems design skills

Position Responsibilities- Provide drawing input and set up utilizing office standards and basic design criteria provided by an engineer and under their supervisor, prepare and change drawings
- Assist in production of construction documents utilizing Revit building information modeling software (BIM)
- Electronically draft plans, schedules, details, controls, and flow diagrams for HVAC and Plumbing systems under supervision of engineers or mechanical designers
- Coordinate production of documents with other departments
- Produce CADD‑based documents or changes to documents and development of details based on "Red Lines" from supervisors or other senior team members
- Prepare construction documents as directed by an engineer, designer, technician, or project manager, i.e., plans, sections, elevations, details, schedules
- Perform basic architectural and/or engineering calculations and take‑offs
- Conduct site surveys under the direction of an engineer or designer for as‑built existing HVAC and plumbing systems for input into drawings
- Organize draft product selections based on example projects and manufacturer information
- Prepare and coordinate production plotting efforts with the team and other disciplines
- Notify other team members / departments of changes that may affect their drawings
* Actual pay will be determined based on the candidate's years of experience, licensure status, location, level of proficiency, and other job‑related factors (as permitted by law). This position is also eligible for an annual performance bonus.

*** The majority of the time, a person in this role will be sitting in an office with limited physical requirements. This may require individuals to bend, stretch, twist, and reach.
