Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid position for an Architectural Staff I (Residential Draftsperson / Revit) at Dwelling Design LLC in Boise, Idaho.
Working under the direction of our Residential Architect, you'll assist in developing high-end custom homes and major remodels from concept through permit. Your primary responsibilities will include producing accurate Revit construction documents, architectural detailing, coordinating consultant drawings, and assembling complete permit drawing packages.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys residential drafting, takes pride in producing high-quality work, and wants to grow professionally within a collaborative, design-focused environment. Responsibilities- Produce accurate Revit models and construction documents.
- Prepare complete architectural permit drawing packages.
- Develop residential construction details.
- Coordinate drawings with structural engineers and other consultants.
- Revise drawings throughout the design and permitting process.
- Assist with design development and project documentation.
- Help maintain Dwelling Design's high standards for quality and customer service.
- 2–5+ years of residential drafting or design experience preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Revit (required).
- Experience producing residential construction documents.
- Strong understanding of residential detailing and drafting.
- Experience with Bluebeam;
Enscape experience is a plus. - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Experience with custom homes is preferred.
- $60,000–$80,000 annually (DOE).
