About the Position
Join Our Team as a Radiology Interventional Physician – Make an Impact in Advanced Patient Care
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Radiology Interventional Physician to join our dynamic healthcare team. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to perform life-saving and complex procedures, contributing significantly to patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive interventional radiology services, including trauma embolization, pulmonary thrombectomy, gastric and biliary tube placements, nephrostomy, ureteral stenting, dialysis graft/fistula stenting, and body arteriography.
Perform specialized procedures such as IVC filter placement/removal, venous and arterial stenting, limb salvage interventions, and more.
Respond to evening and weekend call shifts, with a typical call back volume of 0-4 interventions per shift.
Adhere to all safety protocols, maintain documentation, and ensure the highest quality of patient care.
Required Skills:
Active medical license in Idaho or be eligible through IMLC.
Proven expertise in interventional radiology procedures as listed.
Strong procedural skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
Ability to handle emergency situations with composure and professionalism.
Nice to Have
Skills:
Experience with cryo or thermal ablation, TIPS, Y90, chemo embolization, pseudoaneurysm treatment, or vertebral biopsies.
Prior experience in trauma radiology and limb salvage interventions.
Bilingual capabilities and familiarity with advanced imaging technologies.
Preferred
Education and Experience:
Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
Board certification or eligibility in interventional radiology.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a hospital setting performing similar procedures.
Other Requirements:
Emergency privileges applicable and available.
Willingness to cover scheduled shifts from April through September 2026.
Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.
Availability for scheduled start date:
April 13, 2026.
