Part-Time Floating Assistant Teacher

Primrose School of North Meridian is looking for caring, reliable Part-Time Floating Assistant Teachers to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, flexibility, and working with children of all ages in a supportive, high-quality early learning environment.

As a floating assistant, you'll support multiple classrooms and work with children ranging from 6 weeks through 5 years old, all while maintaining low teacher-to-child ratios.

Schedule Options

* Monday-Friday

* 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM or 12:00 PM - 6:00 PM

What We Offer

* $14-$17 per hour, based on experience

* Consistent weekday schedule with no nights or weekends

What You'll Do

* Assist in classrooms across different age groups as needed

* Support daily routines, activities, and classroom management

* Help maintain a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment

* Build positive relationships with children, teachers, and families

* Follow all school policies and state licensing requirements

What We're Looking For

* Meets Idaho childcare licensing requirements

* Experience in early childhood education preferred, but not required

* A positive attitude and flexibility to work with various age groups

* Dependable, caring, and team-oriented

* Ability to lift up to 35 lbs as needed
