Special Education Teacher
AB Staffing is looking for an experienced
Special Education Teacher that is available for the 2025/2026 school year.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
- Valid Idaho Generalist/Core content Teaching Certification with required endorsements or training for relevant subject and level (preferred)
- Valid Idaho Special Education Teaching Certification
- 1 year of successful Special Education teaching experience in a K-12 school preferred
- Knowledge of core academic subject assigned, curriculum, and ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations and policies affecting special education
- Knowledge of current special education practices and methodologies
- Knowledge of educational technology applications
Caseload and details of position/classroom type will differ based on school location. Recruitment Specialists can discuss in detail upon application to connect you to the classroom and best suits your experience and skillset. Openings in Elementary, Middle, and High School. Contract through the 2025/2026 school year – 40 hours per week. Contract follows the academic district calendar.

$1,920 – $2,200 per week
