Middle School Humanities Teacher (PT/FT Option) St. Joseph's Catholic School Boise, , USA Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver standards-based instruction in middle school humanities courses.
• Develop students’ reading, writing, critical thinking, communication, and research skills.
• Create engaging lessons that integrate literature, history, current events, and Catholic values.
• Assess student learning regularly and provide timely feedback.
• Maintain a positive, structured classroom environment that promotes respect, responsibility, and academic achievement.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues, administration, and families to support student success.
• Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, school events, and faith-based activities.
• Model Christian values and support the mission of Catholic education.

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, History, Humanities, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
• Valid teaching certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Strong knowledge of middle school curriculum and adolescent development.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
• Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education.
