Boise State University's Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering invites applications for two tenure-track faculty positions. One position is open rank, and the second will be filled at the assistant professor rank. We seek candidates who are passionate about advancing their field through impactful research, innovative teaching, student mentorship, and community engagement.

Successful candidates will build a robust, externally funded research program, foster a collaborative learning environment using evidence-based practices, communicate effectively with colleagues and students, and collaborate on interdisciplinary research initiatives.
QualificationsA PhD in Electrical and/or Computer Engineering, or a closely related field, is required for all ranks.
- Assistant Professor:
PhD by the time of appointment. - Associate Professor:
In addition to the PhD, the equivalent of at least five full years of service as an Assistant Professor at an accredited institution of higher learning. - Full Professor:
In addition to the PhD, the equivalent of at least five full years of service as an Associate Professor at an accredited institution of higher learning.
The annual salary for this position starts at $110,000 for a 9-month assistant professor. Salaries for associate and full professors are commensurate with the level of experience.
Startup packages are tailored to experience and anticipated research needs. Reduced course loads are offered based on scholarly activity.

The review of applications will begin on August 1 and continue until a qualified pool has been identified. Initial interviews are expected to start in early September.
