Position Overview
The Boise State University Department of Management, within the College of Business and Economics, is hiring an Assistant Professor in Entrepreneurship to begin in Fall 2026. The position will teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in entrepreneurship in both face‑to‑face and online formats. The initial teaching load is 2‑2 for the first three years and the standard load is 3‑3, with possible reductions to 2‑3 or 2‑2 depending on research productivity.
A commitment to service and collegial interaction with faculty, staff, and students is desirable.
- A Ph.D. in entrepreneurship or a related field from a nationally or internationally AACSB‑accredited university
- Evidence of research/scholarly activity and potential
- Evidence of teaching effectiveness
- Refereed journal publications in entrepreneurship or related fields
- Teaching experience in entrepreneurship at the university level
- Demonstrated service to the campus, local community, state, and other professional areas
- Professional business experience
- A cover letter indicating your interest and qualifications for this position, including your experience in teaching entrepreneurship and any relevant business experience
- Teaching evaluation summaries for all courses taught over the prior three years (not individual student forms)

Salary and BenefitsBase salary of $133,700. The standard faculty contract is a 9‑month contract, with pay and benefits spread over 12 months.
