Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Academic Programs & Project Coordinator, Senior, facilitates work focused on student success, in collaboration with units across divisions of the university.

Level Scope:
Recognized subject matter expert who knows how to apply theory and put it into practice with in-depth understanding of the professional field with limited oversight from managers. Independently performs the full range of responsibilities within the function; requires deep job knowledge of areas typically obtained through higher education combined with experience. Manages large projects or processes and problems faced are difficult and often complex;
analyzes problems/issues of diverse scope and determines solutions. May manage programs that include formulating strategies and administering policies, processes, and resources; functions with a high degree of autonomy. Influences others regarding policies, practices and procedures.
Essential Functions:
60% of Time the Academic Programs & Projects Coordinator must:
- Manage and oversee processes related to the development and ongoing revisions of academic related initiatives.
- Contribute to institutional change related to student success by supporting continuous improvement action planning, assessment, and modifications.
- Conduct research and summarize data to inform decision making, evaluate program effectiveness or alternatives, and to inform program development.
- Coordinate integration of projects and track workflow to monitor progress.
- Monitor student data dashboards and compile reports related to student success.
- Establish timelines and communications with appropriate academic units and coordinate logistics.
- Review and resolve complex issues and concerns related to student academic-related issues.
35% of Time the Academic Programs & Projects Coordinator must:
- Responsible for performing advanced coordinative and administrative duties to support the specified department.
- Additionally, this role now involves leadership in planning, developing, and managing program initiatives that contribute to the university's academic goals and strategic priorities. The incumbent will work with senior university officials, faculty, and external partners to oversee and direct complex academic program activities.
5% of Time the Academic Programs & Projects Coordinator will:
Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent plus 5 years experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Seven years of professional experience or equivalent relevant experience and three years of managerial experience.
Salary and Benefits:
Salary range is $60,673.60 to $68,932.20 annually and is commensurate with experience.
