This posting is for a full-time Paraprofessional at Postlethwait Middle School . This position is temporary for the school year.

Individuals who currently hold or are eligibleforan Instructional Para educator Permit are encouraged to apply.

To qualify for the permit, you must meet one of the following:

• Hold a high school diploma or recognized equivalent AND
• Meet testing requirements by either:
  • Earning a qualifying score of 459 on the Para Pro Assessment (1755) (available through August 31, 2026),
    or
  • Achieving scores of 329 on Para Pathways:
    Reading and Writing (5758)
    and
    334 on Para Pathways:
    Mathematics (5759)

Hold an associate degree or have completed a minimum of 60 semester hoursfrom a regionally accredited institution
, with a grade of C  or better in each course

(Final approval of accepted credits is determined by the Delaware Department of Education).

• Individuals must provide official transcripts, if applicable, updated resume, and three (3) letters of recommendation.
