Full-Time, Monday-Friday | 8:30 AM-5:30 PM

The Learning Experience
- Meridian is seeking an experienced Early Childhood Teacher to lead our 2-year-old classroom.

Two-year-olds are developing language, independence, friendships, and confidence at an incredible pace. We're looking for a teacher who can turn their natural curiosity and energy into meaningful learning experiences while creating a structured, nurturing classroom environment.

• Lead daily routines and learning experiences for children around 2 years old
• Implement The Learning Experience's proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum
• Create hands‑on activities through art, music, movement, sensory play, and exploration
• Support language, cognitive, physical, and social‑emotional development
• Encourage independence, self‑help skills, and positive peer relationships
• Support toileting readiness and classroom transitions
• Maintain consistent routines and positive classroom guidance
• Observe children's development and maintain required documentation
• Build strong relationships and communicate regularly with families
• Guide and collaborate with classroom support teachers
• Follow Idaho childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous professional daycare, preschool, childcare, or early childhood experience strongly preferred
• Experience working with toddlers or 2-year-olds preferred
• Lead classroom experience is a plus
• CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Ability to meet Idaho childcare licensing requirements
