You will be the face and voice of Edmentum for students who depend on you to show up every day, live on camera, fully present and fully prepared. As a Virtual Physics/Physical Science Teacher
, you bring your classroom to life through a screen: connecting with students in real time, personalizing learning for every individual, and creating an online environment where students feel seen, supported, and motivated to succeed. Live, synchronous, on-camera instruction is the heart of this role it is what our students, families, and partner schools depend on every instructional day. This role is for educators who thrive in a fast-moving digital environment and who believe that great live teaching is the core of great learning, regardless of the medium.

In this role you will:

• Deliver live, on-camera synchronous instruction for five (5) or more hours per day, every scheduled instructional day, creating an engaging and structured virtual classroom experience that inspires student participation and achievement.
• Use student performance data to personalize instruction, identify learning gaps, and adapt your approach to meet each student where they are.
• Provide timely, meaningful feedback on student work and maintain accurate records that keep students and families informed and on track.
• Build genuine relationships with students and families through professional, proactive communication that fosters trust and shared accountability for learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with school partners and Edmentum colleagues to ensure students receive consistent, high-quality support across their learning experience.

• You hold a Bachelors degree in Education or a related field and an active state teaching license in Florida and/or Indiana in Physics or Physical Science grades 6-12.
• You have experience teaching in virtual and/or in-person settings and are comfortable with the unique demands of a live online classroom.
• You are confident and engaging on camera, able to teach live for five (5) or more consecutive hours per day, every instructional day, and build real connection with students through a screen.
