Job Description & How to Apply Below

At A3 Staffing, we connect top talent with leading companies in several industries. Our mission is to simplify the hiring process for both job seekers and employers.

The Designer role provides critical support to a once-in-a-lifetime complex construction project by building, managing, and coordinating detailed 3D models. This position calls for strong skills in Revit and Navisworks, plus the ability to work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to keep the models aligned with project objectives. Experience with mechanical piping or advanced manufacturing/semiconductor environments is highly valued. The Designer helps ensure model accuracy, supports BIM workflows, and provides direct value to field operations.

  • Create, maintain, and refine 3D BIM models in Revit that follow project requirements, standards, and best practices.
  • Run clash detection and assemble federated models in Navisworks to identify and resolve interdisciplinary conflicts.
  • Collaborate with MEP, structural, and architectural teams to keep models fully coordinated and up to date.
  • Work within project platforms and tools (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft 365 or similar) to support coordination and documentation.
  • Maintain organized file structures, consistent naming conventions, and curated BIM content libraries.
  • Generate drawings, views, and model outputs that are ready for field use and construction activities.
  • Manage model sharing and version control via cloud-based environments such as BIM 360/ACC or comparable common data environments.
  • Support issue tracking, 3D model coordination, and data exchange using tools like Navisworks and other coordination platforms (e.g., Newforma Konekt or equivalents).
  • Take part in coordination meetings, present model updates, and communicate changes to internal teams and external partners.
  • Perform regular quality reviews and audits to confirm models meet accuracy, consistency, and compliance expectations.
  • Partner with QA/QC, construction management, and site leadership to surface and resolve coordination challenges.
  • Lead and join ad hoc sessions with subcontractors and participate in daily/weekly site meetings to stay current with field conditions and project sequencing.
