Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.

Minimum 7 years of practical experience in mechanical facilities engineering, including HVAC, hydronics, process piping, exhaust, plumbing, and related systems.

At least 5 years of experience in design project delivery processes.

Strong collaboration, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

Preferred: 2+ years working with complex semiconductor manufacturing tools, proficiency in AutoCAD, and a valid EIT or PE license.

Additional Requirements

This role is primarily remote, with onsite work expected for 50% of the first month, then one week per quarter thereafter.

Physical Requirements

Field visits, site walks, and physical activities such as walking, standing, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 25 lbs are required.

Responsibilities

Owner-rep Process Mechanical Lead:
You will serve as the Mechanical Engineering Owner’s Representative for projects at manufacturing facilities in Boise, duties include reviewing designs, specifications, and drawings; providing feedback; and ensuring project requirements are met.

Responsibilities include:

Reviewing design packages including P&IDs, layout drawings, and equipment plans.

Overseeing piping and ducting design for heating, cooling, exhaust, and chemical processing systems.

Supporting retrofit projects and integrating new systems into existing facilities.

Collaborating with clients and multidisciplinary teams to drive design and construction processes.
