Onsite Service Engineer - Boise

Your role :
As an Onsite Service Engineer you provide expert repair services for our technology solutions, delivering unmatched customer satisfaction and upholding the highest safety standards. You ensure the performance and longevity of customer technology through your expertise, supporting the operational success and technological advancement of industries relying on these technologies.

• Report into the Site Manager.
• Conduct planned and ad hoc visits to inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair various technical systems, diagnosing any issues to prevent equipment downtime.
• Perform installations, ensure safety compliance, and document activities.
• Be the on‑site contact, providing service recommendations and addressing customer needs promptly.

• High School Diploma.
• Prefer an AS degree (full military equivalent may substitute for an AS degree).

• 1‑3 years of equivalent experience in a relevant technical field such as electronics, mechanical, chemical, gas, refrigeration, or basic vacuum, ideally with customer‑facing experience.

• Strong customer focus to ensure delivered solutions meet customer expectations and time frames, while working in alignment with Edwards strategies and processes.
• Self‑directed, with the ability to understand and resolve problems aligned with job responsibilities and to escalates through the appropriate channels when required.
• Proactively seeks customer feedback and asks questions to understand the customer’s business.
• Ability to share technical expertise and knowledge and provide coaching to less experienced team members.
• Collaborates and supports team members to deliver company objectives.
• Complies with all applicable laws, policies, and standards to ensure organizational, safety and health obligations are met.
• Fluency in written and spoken English. Ability to speak distinctly and see/hear clearly.
• Able to use computer software to record data and write reports.
• Can understand and interpret technical documentation relevant to work (e.g., technical drawings).
