Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for
all .
Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.
As a Plasma Etch Process Development Engineer in the Technology Development Group at Micron Technology, Inc., you will design and optimize plasma etch processes for Micron's leading-edge DRAM products. You will take ideas from conception through process development, and then implementation in our production facilities! This role is critical to the success of Micron's products and may occasionally require travel to Micron manufacturing sites.
Primary areas of responsibility include plasma dry etch process characterization, optimization, design, troubleshooting, process transfer and fundamental research.
Dry Etch Process Development Engineers interact with groups such as process integration, electrical failure analysis, yield enhancement, manufacturing, and equipment vendors to ensure robust etch processes that meet the precise physical and electrical requirements for Micron products
This position requires that you have an aptitude for a research and development (R&D), good organization skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team environment!
ResponsibilitiesConduct plasma etch process characterization, optimization, design, troubleshooting, process transfer, and fundamental research.
Carry out the R&D Pilot Line Fab, and updating the Fab engineers on customer issues and technology needs.
Supporting root cause defect and unique fail mode analysis. Conduct process Integration, including the delivery of advanced technology to meet future product nodes; development of recipes to meet structural & electrical requirements; and the management of wafers through Dry Etch levels in support of special requirements.
Work in cross-functional teams to develop device structures. Supporting multi-functional failure analysis and yield improvement.
