Position Purpose
As a LONG Project Manager, you will oversee the entire lifespan of projects acquired within the Mechanical Solutions business division. You will be involved in coordinating the planning, design, procurement of essential equipment, and allocation of workforce for each project, ensuring timely, efficient, and economical execution while adhering to customer specifications and meeting predefined deadlines.

Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, you must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties or tasks assigned as required. - Collect and manage equipment submittals and other required project documentation.
- Ensure that all project contract documentation is up to date and accurate, including project scope, plans, specifications, and other project-related documents.
- Review and analyze job reports using internal reporting tools.
- Identify scope changes, scheduling shifts, and site conditions that may impact productivity and profitability.
- Monitor project expenses and notify manager when cost exceeds estimate.
- Recognize when additional work is required or when project schedule changes occur that affect workforce resources or job cost.
- Complete assigned projects according to proposal, drawings, and specifications, cost estimates, customer expectations, and time frames by effectively managing and executing contractual obligations in concert with LONG project management procedures.
- Assure engineering has the necessary information to prepare submittals and installation drawings.
- Procure equipment based on approved submittals to meet installation timelines.
- Direct, prepare, and maintain project schedules using MS Project software or other approved platform.
- Review the financial performance of individual projects.
- Participate in work-in-progress meetings and prepare specific information regarding the status of all costs and schedules for projects.
- Coordinate labor, equipment, subcontractors, and materials to fulfill project needs within budget.
- Travel as needed to job sites and customer locations for inspections and coordination.
- Other Duties as assigned.
$72,800 - $83,200, plus commission.
Qualifications- 4 years of construction management degree preferred. May have a 2-year technical degree and 2 years of mechanical service (OR) 5 years of Commercial HVAC project management (OR) 6 years of mechanical service experience.
- Knowledge of heating, ventilating, air conditioning systems, electrical systems, energy management, engineering, installation, management, and construction procedures.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and with tight deadlines.
- Availability for after-hour consultation and problem-solving on assigned jobs, as necessary.
- Proficient in MS Office Products (Word, Excel, MS Projects).
- PMP Certification in project management is a plus.

- This position may require routine sitting, lifting, bending, and kneeling.
- This position may require lifting to 25 lbs. from floor to counter top and counter top to floor.
