We are seeking an Entry‑Level Mechanical Engineer for a contract‑to‑hire opportunity with our client in Boise, Idaho
. This role supports the design and delivery of state‑of‑the‑art industrial and commercial facilities
. You will work as part of a highly collaborative, multi‑disciplinary team and gain experience across the full project lifecycle—from design through construction support and startup.

In this role, you will be accountable for the technical quality and schedule of assigned engineering tasks while developing familiarity with client expectations, scope, budget, and project schedules. The position also includes on‑site support during system startup
, coordinating closely with discipline leads and other project team members.

• Assist with the design, development, evaluation, and specification of engineered systems for:

  • HVAC systems

  • Plumbing systems

  • Fire protection systems

• Support preparation of engineering calculations, drawings, and technical documentation

• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other disciplines to deliver coordinated designs

• Provide on‑site assistance during construction and startup activities

• Coordinate work activities with discipline leads and project team members

• Support quality control efforts and adherence to project schedules and design standards

• Gain familiarity with client requirements, project scope, budgets, and schedules

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering

• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification

• Working knowledge of Revit software

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities

• Forward‑thinking mindset with a desire to learn best practices and contribute innovative ideas

• Ability to learn quickly and expand technical knowledge

• Ability to collaborate effectively within multi‑disciplinary teams

• Interest in buildings and construction, with a focus on industrial and manufacturing facilities
