Pay Rate: $32-$42

Position Type: Full Time

Principal Duties and Responsibilities- Perform fabrication, welding, and mechanical/electrical assembly of CDE systems, including PFA plumbing and stainless‑steel components.
- Read, interpret, and update schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and fluid‑flow diagrams; collaborate with Design Engineers as needed.
- Install, modify, and troubleshoot high/low‑voltage electrical systems, controls wiring, instrumentation, and plumbing within tool cabinets.
- Conduct system QA testing, provide daily pass‑downs with redlines, and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Apply strong mechanical/electrical troubleshooting skills while using PC/PLC‑based equipment, hand tools, and safety practices.
- 5+ years of related experience, including 2+ years working with gas or chemical equipment and 3+ years of applicable hands‑on technical work.
- Acceptable alternatives:
Technical Certificate + 3 years related experience, or AS degree + 3 years related experience. - Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with proficiency in basic hand tools.
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, mechanical drawings, and fluid‑flow diagrams.
- Solid troubleshooting abilities across mechanical, electrical, and control systems, with basic computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel).
- Previous Chemical or Wet Process Engineering experience
May be required to walk up to 5+ miles per day, be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, and perform bending, twisting, pushing/pulling, crouching, kneeling in confined spaces, working at heights on a ladder, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
