MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
* Undergraduate student currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in GIS, Geography, Geomatics, or a related field.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
* Must take all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs and data from cyber-attack, damage or unauthorized access.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to perform accurate, repetitive editing work.
* This position is located onsite in Boise, .
* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States, no sponsor ships considered.
* Subject to pre-employment drug testing and background checks.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Currently enrolled sophomore or junior in undergraduate study program in GIS, Geography, Geomatics, or a related field.
* Familiarity with Esri GIS software (ArcGIS Pro preferred).
* Experience working with high-accuracy GNSS/GPS data.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Enter, review, and validate GPS pipeline and land data from Locusview and other sources into the GIS.
* Edit and correct existing natural gas and land GIS data to match updated, more accurate field data.
* Perform GIS editing and QA/QC in ArcGIS Pro and the Utility Network.
* Identify and resolve data discrepancies between field data and existing GIS records.
* Follow GIS standards, procedures, and safety‑related data practices.
* Performs other tasks and special projects as assigned.
The internship is located onsite at our Boise, Office with a desired up to 40 hour per week schedule, based on business needs. The duration will be from May to August.
Hourly Wage: $18.00
