Lead Power Engineer

** As a Lead Power Engineer a typical day might include:
*** Maintaining a detailed understanding of electric power systems and how to protect, monitor and control the power system.
* Conceiving and developing concepts for new product ideas and enhancements.
* Lead efforts in providing power engineering support for customers & field application engineers.
* Serving as project technical lead.
* Modeling, teaching and applying SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.

* Other duties as assigned.
** This job might be for you if you have:
*** B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
* Typically 6+ years of experience in electric power systems, protection practices and philosophies.
* Excellent technical training, speaking and writing skills.
* Experience leading a portion of a project.
* Strong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.
* Ability to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.
* Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
** You may be a stronger fit for this position if you:
*** Have working knowledge of SEL products.
* Experience in MATLAB and/or Python programming.

** Pay Range Data: $101,900 - $150,600 annually.
*** We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the salary range may differ if filled at a different level.
