Ackerman Estvold Engineering and Consulting is on the lookout for a skilled Municipal/Land Development Engineer with over 5 years of experience to join our Garden City, e. In this pivotal role, you will lead the planning, design, and management of high-quality municipal infrastructure projects, focusing on urban and rural roadways, private land development, water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer utilities, as well as site development.
Collaborating closely with project managers, clients, and community leaders, you will not only ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget but also contribute to the growth and expansion of our municipal and land development services in the Boise, .
You will prepare technical reports, specifications, and engineering plans while providing leadership and mentoring to junior staff and maintaining a high-performance, collaborative work environment. With your expertise, you ll represent the company professionally at various municipal meetings, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities- Lead the planning, design, and management of municipal infrastructure projects (urban and rural roadways, private land development, water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer utilities, and site development).
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and community leaders to deliver projects on time and on budget.
- Prepare technical reports, specifications, and engineering plans; provide leadership and mentoring to junior staff; maintain a high-performance, collaborative work environment.
- Represent the company at municipal meetings and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field;
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Idaho or ability to obtain within six months. - Minimum of five years of relevant municipal or land development civil engineering experience.
- Strong communication, presentation, and client-relations skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Boise, is a plus.
