Wastewater Treatment & Effluent Management Business Class Leader Job Boise area,Idaho USA,Engineering

The Wastewater Treatment Business Class Lead (BCL) will lead and grow the Wastewater Treatment and Effluent Management group for Idaho, coordinating projects from planning to construction, mentoring staff, and advancing business development within the Water Business Group.

Primary Responsibilities

Marketing and Strategy
- Involved in marketing planning, proposals, and interviews
- Develop and manage client relationships
- Serve as a Client Manager for assigned accounts, maintaining strong relationships and understanding client organization and opportunities
- Participate in business class strategic planning, budgeting, and implementation
- Drive area initiatives related to the business class
Staff Development
- Select, train, develop, and manage technical personnel
- Manage and develop multidisciplinary teams
- Implement, monitor, and support company policy
- Supervise engineers and junior staff (2‑6 persons)
Technical Excellence
- Act as project and technical manager for critical area and regional projects
- Coordinate area projects, monitor and improve technical competencies of staff and products
- Plan, organize, control, and evaluate work through proactive project management
- Deliver project services to meet client expectations
- Collaborate with operations, marketing, project managers and delivery staff on business class efforts
- Participate in practice and professional groups to improve standards and implement quality assurance and control reviews
- Conduct QC reviews or assist technical teams in finding reviewers
Perform other duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Maintain a professional or engineering registration in Idaho

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field
10 years of experience
Committed to quality, improvement and HDR values
Maintains a professional or engineering registration and has related technical experience
Experienced in development and management of diverse teams
Works cooperatively with other area business class leaders, operations managers, technical directors and marketing managers on business class efforts
Active participant of the employee‑owned culture is a must
