Education and Licensure
- • Bachelor or higher Degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy Engineering from an ABET‑accredited program.
- • Current Professional Engineer (PE) licensure with ability to obtain in State of Idaho.
- • At least 10 years of experience in engineering design of building electrical.
- • Solid working knowledge of NFPA 70 (NEC).
- • Proficiency in voltage drop, arc flash, short‑circuit current, and load flow calculations using SKM PTW, Easy Power, or similar modeling software.
- • Experience with engineering practices and procedures for specifications and selection of all types of electrical equipment and hardware.
- • Reviewing vendor submittal packages against client requirements and specifications.
- • Field experience interacting with subcontractors and construction personnel.
- • Ability to perform site punch walk services.
- • At least 2 years of experience with complex semiconductor manufacturing tools, either in manufacture, installation, or use in clean rooms.
- • Semiconductor and/or Data Center/Mission Critical facilities electrical design experience.
- • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM software.
- • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- • Forward‑thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas.
- • Ability to learn quickly and drive to broaden knowledge base.
- • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multidisciplinary teams.
- • Passionate about buildings and construction.
- • On‑site position requiring work to be performed in Boise, .
- • Candidate must be willing to commute to the site Monday‑Friday during normal business hours (nominally 8:00am to 5:00pm) with some flexibility.
- • Position requires field visits and walks at an active client site in various stages of construction.
- • Applicant must be able to walk long distances, sit and stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, twist, crawl, climb ladders, work on catwalks, work in small spaces, lift and carry up to 25lbs.
