Overview

Micron Technology seeks an Industrial/Systems Engineer to work with a team of engineers to develop solutions that support data analysis of strategy options and technology changes in current and future fabrication facilities.

Responsibilities

Develop mathematical models of product flow / tool capacity to forecast capability and solve problems using Linear Programming (LP) and Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP).

Apply data science concepts: data mining, processing, and analyzing data.

Use data visualization techniques/tools, including Tableau, to understand results of various analyses.

Apply statistical concepts and methodologies, including process control and regression analysis, to translate data into meaningful information for capacity modeling and product planning.

Apply project management methodologies to run projects from initiation and planning to deployment.

Use model‑based problem solving, data analysis techniques, find root causes, and evaluate options.

Employ programming languages, including SQL, relational database design, optimization software, IBM CPLEX/Gurobi, Python, and Tableau.

Qualifications

Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Operations Research, or related field.
