As an Advanced Modeling Principal Engineer in Boise, , you will continuously uplevel your skills and deliver high‑impact solutions to our technology and products group. You will play a crucial role in developing digital twins for fab technology co‑optimization, collaborating with global teams, and interpreting predictive modeling insights to communicate findings optimally.
Responsibilities- Develop digital twins for fab technology co‑optimization covering wafer, die, and package level models across tech nodes.
- Collaborate with global teams to develop and deploy solutions that accelerate design, technology, and product development.
- Apply a diverse range of computational and Gen‑AI techniques to train robust models with sparse datasets.
- Identify insights from predictive modeling, images, and data, and efficiently communicate findings to engineering teams and senior leaders.
- Master’s degree with 10+ years or PhD with 7+ years, or equivalent experience in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Applied Physics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of numerical methods, high‑performance computing, machine learning, and artificial‑intelligence algorithms.
- Experience in innovative multiphysics and multiscale modeling methods and ML/DL/AI libraries working with high‑dimensional and dynamic datasets.
- Proficiency in Linux, C++, Python, and experience working in cloud or HPC environments.
- Familiarity with SQL, data engineering, and various cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS).
- Experience in the memory industry.
- Previous experience as a process or PI engineer.
- Advanced skills in multiscale stress and thermo‑mechanical modeling.
- Experience with enterprise‑level user documentation and presentations to senior leaders.
- Proven experience and/or knowledge in the semiconductor industry.
